The Minnesota Firefighter Memorial

The statue was dedicated on October 1992 at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. While the current statue serves as a public memorial, its size and location hinder public viewing, private meditation and group memorial services.
Public awareness and appreciation for firefighters has been at an all-time high since the tragic and dramatic events of September 11. Their courage and the critical role they play in our society has led to increased visibility and respect for firefighters closer to home.
